Nick's Cove and Cottages is a quaint and charming seaside hotel and restaurant in Marshall CA, located on the northeast shore of Tomales Bay. Pat Kuleto, the famed San Francisco restaurant developer restored and created Nicks Cove in 1999 and festooned it with nautical memorabilia so it appears as a 1930's seafood roadhouse. The name Nicks Cove honors Nick Kojich who in opened a seafood restaurant here in 1931.
There are 12 beautifully restored cottages that have heated ceramic tile floors, claw foot tubs, one of a kind rain showers and many other luxuries. All rooms have beautiful views of Tomales Bay, glistening nearby.
There is also a charming restored boathouse at the end of the pier at Nicks where it’s a great place to sit and have some wine and oysters before dining.
The roadhouse restaurant has wonderful local seafood; they have oysters on the menu that are hours old and were caught next door. Fresh. They have an extensive wine list that features local wine-makers as well as wines from New Zealand, France and Spain.
Nick's Cove is a local treasure: unique, beautiful, historic, great food, and warm and friendly service. It’s a destination restaurant with luxury cottages that are truly worth the trip.
