Jackson Hole, Wyoming

We had a great weekend in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The snow was extraordinary. We stayed at the Four Seasons in Teton Village. We skied and mushed sled dogs up snow-covered roads that ended with a hearty lunch and a swim in some snowy hot springs. Felt good, hot and cold at the same time. 

We had a good time in the Town of Jackson. Large central square surrounded by bars and restaurants that are touristy but fun. The Snake River Grill is a good local restaurant. They have everything from mouth watering Wagyu steaks, Buffalo Carpaccio, Black Angus beef Cheeks to chorizo stuffed dates… house made chorizo stuffed Medjool Dates wrapped in bacon. Gourmet food! Million $ Cowboy Bar is interesting too. 

We loved mushing the dogs. They’re so energized and trained. They were really happy pulling the sleds and ran as long and as hard as we’d let them. The great thing was that the head musher let us drive our own sleds. We really were able  to communicate with the dogs. They're so smart, they know what we want to do before we ask them.

Top of Rendezvous Mountain

We had a long tough day skiing on the top of Rendezvous Mountain @ 10450 Feet (3,185 Meters) in the Grand Tetons. It has one of the best black diamond ski areas in the world. Exciting and a little dangerous. Definitely not for beginners.

Everything about the mountain was great. Not as crowded as Colorado or a Tahoe resort would be and the skiing was awesome. The Four Seasons was fantastic as usual. The people were nice, food was good, and everything was very clean and kept up. Four Seasons quality.

We’ve skied a lot of resorts and Jackson Hole is by far one of the best!  It’s a Legend! Don't miss it! We shall return.
